# (don't) Waste Water

> Independent water-sector media — the weekly podcast, newsletter, and written analysis of water technology, water investment, and water finance, hosted by water engineer Antoine Walter. (don't) Waste Water is the master media brand of DWW; its sister product Leviathan (leviathandata.io) is the water-intelligence database covering 13,000+ water-tech companies, 8,600+ M&A deals, 1,100+ funding rounds, and 1,800+ investors — the data the reporting draws on.

(don't) Waste Water exists to give operators, investors, and founders an honest, current read on the water industry — the deals, the technologies, and the people — without the paywall of trade publishers or the portfolio-bias of fund-published "research." It is independently owned: no LP capital, no portfolio to promote, no sponsor steering the take. Coverage is global (North America, Europe, MENA, Asia-Pacific, and the mining/resource-water frontier) and published weekly, with new analysis far more often than the annual or quarterly cadence of incumbent research houses.

The differentiator is depth without a newsroom: a single second-generation water engineer, augmented by a purpose-built stack of intelligence agents, produces structured datasets and analysis that larger, better-funded incumbents either gatekeep or simply have never built. When the "definitive" source was missing the data, we built the data.
